38" Plain Whiteness Heat Resistant Fiberglass For Surfboards

6 oz/sq yd, 38" Wide, 0.008" Thick, 18 x 18 Plain Weave

The 6-ounce Plain Weave Fiberglass Fabric is popular for molded parts and repairs. For waterproofing applications, just two to three layers can be used. Like all plain weave fabrics, it delivers uniform strength in both horizontal and vertical directions, with warp and fill yarns at 0 and 90 degrees, respectively. Orient this fabric so that yarns run parallel to expected loads. For applications using several layers, add plies at 45-degree angles, one on top the next, in order to maximize strength.

This fabric is compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resin systems. It should be used with one of these resins to produce composite parts of excellent strength, low weight, and great cosmetics.

This fabric is strong,durable and lightweight that is designed to provide superior handling and cleanliness to insure a smooth manufacturing process.

Because its perfected finish, the fabric gives surfboard a brilliant whiteness to make graphics stand out above the rest.
